Adam Hall Cables is the cabling and connectivity line of the German Adam Hall group. Adam Hall founded the group in 1975 in Southend-on-Sea, England, making hardware for flight cases; since 1990 it has been based in Neu-Anspach, near Frankfurt, and today it brings together brands such as LD Systems, Cameo, Palmer, Gravity and Defender.
Cabling is the least glamorous part of any rig and the one you notice most when it fails. Adam Hall works that ground as a manufacturer: ranges defined by use, connectors from recognised makers and standardised lengths, so the same cable can still be replaced years later under the same reference.
Of its five hundred plus references at DJMania, the bulk sits in instrument and line cable — 6.3 mm jack and XLR to jack combinations —, microphone cable XLR to XLR, speaker cable with Speakon connectors, DMX for lighting, powerCON and mains looms. Domestic audio cable, multicores and patch leads round it off.
If you are building a rack, a booth or a stage and want to close the whole cabling job with a single brand, this one covers practically the entire connection map.
