Fonestar is one of the historic names of Spanish audio. Martiniano Vallejo founded it in 1947 in Santander, building valve radios in the huts raised after the fire that destroyed the city, and it has been manufacturing ever since: today Fonestar Sistemas designs and produces in Cantabria and sells in more than sixty countries, with over a hundred employees.
Its ground is public address and professional installed sound: the fixed system of a school, a hotel, an industrial unit, a church or a shopping centre. The catalogue is built for the installer, with 100 V lines, certified product and ranges kept in production so they can still be replaced years later.
At DJMania you will find close to nine hundred of its references: ceiling speakers and horns for 100 V lines, amplifiers and PA power stages, microphones — headset, handheld and desktop —, 19 inch racks of 8 and 12 units, and a wide range of wall mounts for television.
If the job is to cover a space with sound rather than to build a DJ booth, Fonestar is the catalogue that handles the install from end to end.
