UDG — short for Ultimate DJ Gear — was born in 2000 in Rotterdam with a simple idea: getting your kit to the gig should not mean hauling a huge flight case. Out of that came the SoftBag, the padded bag that opened a whole category and that the rest of the market ended up copying.
Over the years the brand has covered the full journey of the gear: from the producer's backpack to the 9 mm plywood flight case with its grippy textured finish, by way of booth trolleys. Its case for Pioneer CDJs became a standard that appears written into riders all over the world.
At DJMania its deepest range is bags and cases for controllers, cut to fit each specific model, along with cases for media players and turntables, trolleys and backpacks from the Ultimate line, booth stands and its range of USB cables — 2.0 and USB-C — built so the laptop connection is not the weak link of the night.
If you move your gear every weekend, this is the brand that decides whether it arrives in one piece.
