Akai MPC One G2

The Akai MPC One G2 is the second generation of the most compact MPC: a fully standalone production centre for chopping samples, programming beats, sequencing external gear and arranging full songs without opening a laptop. Its look brings back the blue of the classic MPC4000 and MPC1000, with the legendary MPC pads and a hands-on layout.

It delivers four times the performance of the MPC One+ thanks to its 8-core ARM processor, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It supports up to 16 stereo audio tracks and 32 plugin instruments per project, so you can record audio, layer sounds and build complete arrangements without leaving standalone mode.

It runs MPC3, with a track-based workflow and the Linear Arranger for DAW-style song building. When you need a computer, it integrates easily: Ableton Live Control Mode plus Ableton project import and export. A single USB-C cable carries 24 x 24 multichannel audio, expanded MIDI and device connectivity, and you can sample directly from your phone or tablet. With MIDI and CV/Gate it sequences synths, drum machines and modular gear.

It ships with over 20 GB of content: plugins such as Bassline, Electric, Fabric Select, Hype, Mellotron, Odyssey, Organ, Solina, Tubesynth and Drumsynth, sound libraries, Native Instruments Analog Dreams (MPC Edition) and two months of Splice.
