Akai MPK Mini Plus II

The Akai MPK Mini Plus II is the new generation of Akai's compact MIDI controller: an enhanced 37 mini-key keybed (3 octaves), MPC pads, hands-on controls and performance tools to compose, experiment and produce anywhere.

The 8 RGB MPC pads, velocity-sensitive with aftertouch, let you finger-drum beats, launch clips, trigger chords and build progressions. The arpeggiator, chord mode and Note Repeat are joined by the generative Glitch, Mutate and Strum functions to explore rhythmic variations, sequences and new ways to play chords.

It integrates with standalone MPCs and MPC Desktop (transport, pads, assigned knobs, pitch and mod wheels, plugin presets and track navigation) and with supported DAWs, with feedback on its colour LCD. With its MIDI DIN output and 3 CV/Gate outputs it also controls synths, MIDI gear and modular systems.

It includes the Studio Instrument Collection, with more than 1,000 sounds from AIR Music Tech, Moog Music and Akai Professional, plus Native Instruments Komplete Select (Akai Edition) and MPC Beats.
