The Hercules DS551B stand is designed to hold and protect the sousaphone when not in use, both during rehearsals and performances. Its tripod with reinforced metal legs provides a firm, stable base, preventing tipping even on uneven surfaces.
The folding yoke features a locking pin that secures it in position and allows for quick assembly and disassembly via a centre screw. Both the yoke and the backrest are covered with specially formulated foam padding (SFF) that protects the finish at all contact points. Its folding design makes it easy to transport and store.
