Soundcraft Signature Plus 16

The Soundcraft Signature Plus 16 is the next step of the Signature series: an 16-channel analogue mixing console built around Soundcraft Ghost mic preamps and the Sapphyre EQ, with a dbx OverEasy one-knob compressor on every mono channel and a Lexicon hardware effects processor with preset store and Tap Tempo.

The 16-channel frame is split into 10 mono channels — combo XLR/jack input, TRS insert point, three-band EQ with swept mids and their own compressor — and 3 stereo strips, the last one carrying the USB and RCA returns. That makes 12 combo XLR/jack mic-line inputs and global 48 V phantom power.

The output section is pure console: 4 aux sends with global pre/post switching, a separate FX send, 4 subgroups (1-2 and 3-4), a dedicated Listen bus (PFL/AFL), talkback with its own XLR and Talkback To routing, and SSM metering on every input and output. MIX and control room outputs are balanced XLR.

The 4x4 USB-C interface at up to 192 kHz turns the desk into an audio interface: record the mix and the groups, and bring two playback pairs back into a channel, into the mix or straight into the headphones. Bundled software: Ableton Live 12 Lite, Lexicon MPX and LXP plug-ins, FLUX:: EVO Series Pack and MiRA Session Metering.
