DAP Audio is the professional audio brand of Highlite International, the Dutch company founded in the 1990s by Huub and Conny de la Haije in Kerkrade, South Limburg. What began with a single container of show equipment is today a group of more than 150 people supplying over 70 countries.
The DAP catalogue covers the whole signal chain: cabling and connectors, microphones, loudspeakers, signal management and the cases that move it all. It is a workhorse brand rather than a showcase one — gear built for fixed installations, venues and live work, with a price-to-quality ratio that has made it a regular in rental warehouses, rehearsal rooms and event crews.
At DJMania the deepest part of the range is cabling and connectors: over a hundred references covering XLR, jack and Speakon leads, combined signal and power cables, adaptors and patch leads. Close behind come the racks, flight cases and transport bags. The range is completed by dynamic and instrument microphones, the Pure series loudspeakers — lightweight bi-amplified 12 and 15 inch cabinets with an 18 inch sub and onboard DSP — and the Core series, the brand's DJ line of mixers, media players and controllers.
If you build, rent out or maintain sound systems, DAP Audio is the brand you reach for to solve the part nobody sees but everything rests on: the missing cable, the right adaptor, the rack it all lives in and the case that carries it.
