HQ Power is the sound and stage lighting brand of the Belgian Velleman group, the Gavere company founded by Koen Velleman in 1974, which today brings together eight own brands with an in-house R&D department and production in Belgium.
HQ Power fills a very specific gap: the working gear you buy by the unit and use up. It is not the brand of the install amplifier, but of the mic stand that bends during load-in, the metre of cable that is missing, the fog fluid that runs out halfway through the night or the rope light that dresses a venue.
